Body Management – An Online Program by tsar

Sitting a lot. Moving more easily again.

Targeted exercises for pain and tension caused by prolonged sitting and computer work. You can do them right at your desk and easily incorporate them into your workday.

Body Management

YOUR STARTING POINT

You get up from your desk. The discomfort follows you.

After hours in front of the screen, you feel achy and stiff, and it’s hard to get moving again. You want to do something about it that fits into your daily work routine. That’s exactly what Body Management is for: short exercises and targeted routines designed to address the physical strain caused by sedentary work.

YOUR DAILY LIFE AS A STARTING POINT

You get up from your desk. The discomfort follows you.

After hours in front of the screen, you feel achy and stiff, and it’s hard to get moving again. You want to do something about it that fits into your daily work routine. That’s exactly what Body Management is for: short exercises and targeted routines designed to address the physical strain caused by sedentary work.

THIS IS WHERE THE PROGRAM BEGINS

The key factor is what causes the symptoms.

When sitting, typing, and using a mouse, many parts of the body move in similar ways for hours on end. Some muscles remain tense, while certain movements are rarely performed. That’s why, when it comes to body management, we consider the entire body during desk work—right down to the hands and fingers.

The goal: to specifically address discomfort caused by sitting for long periods and help you move more easily both during and after work.

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

A break to move around. A short, targeted workout. Or ten minutes just for you.

You decide what you need at any given moment. All the exercises can be easily incorporated into your workday.

14 Power Exercises

Right at your desk, even while sitting: Choose an exercise for a quick movement break, or combine several of them. The videos show you how to do each movement with the trigger band.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I just do a strength exercise here and there?

Yes. Each of the 14 power exercises can be used on its own, and you can combine several of them. If you want to work on a specific issue, choose one of the 25 short programs. Then follow the order shown in the brochure.

Why have a separate program for complaints caused by sitting?

Similar symptoms can arise from a variety of activities. That’s why Body Management focuses on sedentary work: How does your body function while working at a computer screen, typing, and using a mouse? The short programs are tailored to these strains and the body parts involved. The shoulders and neck are just two of many examples.
