Between light and shadow - a candle exercise that opens the heart and energy. Celebrate Diwali & Halloween with us - two festivals that keep the inner light alive. 🕯️🎃


Karin and I have been philosophizing - about Diwali, my dad's Indian New Year, and about Halloween - the festival of shadows. Two festivals that couldn't be more different at first glance - and yet have the same core: the interplay of light and darkness, of letting go and new beginnings.


While in India the light is lit to dispel the darkness, in many parts of the world we celebrate the mysterious - that which becomes visible in the shadows when the outside becomes still. And right in between lies a special invitation: to nourish, hold and powerfully feel your own light.


In my new video, I show you a seemingly simple but deeply effective candle exercise to open your heart space and activate your energy flow - both physically and energetically.


Because the candle is more than just a symbol here. It becomes a training tool that teaches you to consciously combine tension and expansiveness: You actively push and pull the glass with the candle together and apart again - with tangible strength and presence. Your chest rises, your ribs open and your intercostal muscles work intensively. Coupled with deep, rhythmic breathing, this creates a palpable expansion throughout your torso - a real cardio-strength workout.


This activation not only creates more space in the upper body, but also improves the statics and posture of the spine. When the stomach is compressed, nothing can flow freely - neither energy nor breath. But as soon as the ribcage opens and the body envelope comes into balance, the chakras - the energy centers along the spine - begin to glow and connect again. ✨ 💫
